Gifting Brands is a curated shopping experience that allows you to shop for your favourite luxury brands with the ability to give back to a charity of your choice.
Gifting Brands was inspired by my goal to help women, children and families. With my experience in retail, I know that most luxury companies don't have a sustainable solution to excess inventory at the end of the season.
The greatest lesson I've learned about being in business is that a leader does not give up.
Starting a company is not quick or easy. Find great mentors and ask others for help. In my career, I have developed great relationships with people in the industry who I can turn to for help or advice.
You have to just keep going. Losing motivation after a setback only delays or pauses progress. Also, get involved in entrepreneur groups or founders organisations and surround yourself with people who understand the ups and downs and can help.
In five years, I'd love to see Gifting Brands grow. I want to grow our number of charity partners and brand partners. We love getting to partner with amazing companies and nonprofits to work together towards benefiting women and children in need. Our goal is to have donated over $5 million to charity in the next five years.
